Suggestion about Repair Kits
« on: May 03, 2013, 04:47:47 pm »
Currently, each repair kit can be used only once. I propose that this be changed.

For example, a kit that can repair 300 mechanical damage, when applied to an item with 100 mechanical damage, is reduced to a kit that can only repair 200 mechanical damage.

I like that idea and it makes a lot of sense.

They could have a kind of durability meter that only subtracts the amount of damage you repair.

Yeah totally agree with this! I'd still prefer a repair setup where you used materials to fix something (a bit like in fallout 3) but if we have to stick with kits then this idea is a must.

Using scraps/Items of the same type to fix something is a great idea, but that's for a feat. Not everyone can take two rusty poles to create a polished one.
