Interesting. It would be good to have more information about it. Like, how much encuberance affects it. Like how much % counts towards how much loss.

No, fallout tactics didn't sucked. People need to get this over in their heads. Fallout tactics was never an RPG. It was an atempt to make something different for a change, not a change of heading on what fallout was. Think of it as something like someone grabbing Xcom and making a first person shooter. It wasn't a change of direction, it's was grabbing the universe and make a one off game out of it. Fallout tactics was a turn based squad strategy game and as a turn based squad strategy game it was a very good game... Again, the problem is that people want to force into their heads that fallout tactics was either a bad RPG (which it wasn't at all to begin with) or a continuation of the fallout series (which it wasn't too, it was a spinoff).

This would actually be nice along with auto-save everytime you change instances.

On another note I shall have to bring down the holy inquisition on you so that you shall be purged by fire after playing any fallout that it's not 1, 2 or tactics. :P

I don't really understand encumberance myself. Now i've never used very heavy armor myself but I've never noticed any negative effects from it aside some feats nt being usable while you have a certain amount of it.

Just because you did it, it doesn't means people will find it particularly fun. Now don't get me wrong, I love myself some roleplay, be it over the net or tabletop (yeah I know this is going to get completly taken out of context your pervs! :P) but I don't find that appealing in the least in vidio games.

Speed isn't too much of a factor though. Consider that the explosion occurs when someone steps into the mine, which gives time for many of the slower ones to at least be within the blast radius area. If the movement wouldn't bring them into the blast radius then next turn the area effect damage won't be there anyway. Now I do realise that there are still other things to take into consideration like say, one guy triggers the mine, another moves shoots from outside the blast radius which is a sizable pause and then advances into the blast radius and that small bit wouldn't too make much sense. But we gotta realise that turn based has it's own limitations and it's better to just incorporate an area effect for one round to mines to actually make it hit multiple opponents to make them viable, rather than have it be wasted on singular opponents. A delay base wouldn't work, many enemies would move past the whole area of effect and it could just blow without actually damaging anyone at all.

Saving cliff's girlfriend XD. I remember getting there, not having the persuasion so I went back to depot A which had respawned the mutants, killed a few of them, got a level up, dumped everything into persuasion and then got to do the quest. i also had doctor so I healed both of them XD

Yeah I know repairing can be worth it for guns at least, not so much for initial armor and knives. ut even then the profit is not really that big, it really is a harsh economy at the start. until you get to depot A you're pretty much out of luck. GMS gives you a small economic boost, but not enough.

And while I agree if you go into main quest just along and don't take any sidequest you're screwed, you must take into account that there are not many sidequests at the moment and relatively easy ways to level. The explorarion allowed is very minimal, for the most part it's follow the mainquest with a few sidequests here and there. Again I don't have a problem with the game being hard, i like challenges, i just think innitial challenge should be reviewed and I just made a sugestion which creates a solution to going back to he bunker after almost every fight. Up ahead the problem is not the quests being tough, it's that the current design allows for them to be completed as a psiker, but probably not as anything else and I feel that all forms of combat available should be viable rather than you're a psiker that can use weapons too.

no it wouldn't. just put an area effect damage for that one turn, move in, take the damage.

Great ideas here but it does not solve the most pressing problem of traps which is the ineffectiveness of them. Say you place a mine in the right place. aggro a pack of enemies and flee out of the blast radius. First enemy comes in and dies, all others move through and ignore it. Realisticly they all should be moving at the same time  and once once steped overit him and his palls should all take the damage... To this end I propose a small change to the operation of traps. On the turn that a traps explodes, any one moving into the radius of the explosion after the first guy set up the mine all take damage. this would make it more realistic and would actually make traps useful against groups which is my current problem with it.

Also because I use psionics my grenades have earned a new nickname. Minesweepers. I'll waste the hell out of them to clear mines. Still needs some scumsaving cause my skill at tossing them is atrocious. lol

One thing I really agree with is actually more detailed information about stuff. Explaining exactly what consequences and what are the needs to get stuff like for example. What is the minimum required intelligence and will to have all conversation paths open and stuff like that.

In my case, a friend of mine was checking out new stuff coming to steam, saw the title and went to check it and thought this game would be totally up my alley... Which it is! for the last couple of days this game has swallowed up my live!
