Bugs / Re: Expedition Help -- Professor Quest Bugged?

That worked. But, I would consider this a bug. There's no reason to expect that you'd need to continue to carry a stinky hand around in order to not be locked out of an already-unlocked area.

I do not have the hand. I think I stashed it back home. This seems like a bit of a bug then, the hand shouldn't be required again. I'll go try that.

Bugs / Expedition Help -- Professor Quest Bugged?
« on: June 22, 2020, 08:22:24 am »
I've been informed that the Professor has been kidnapped, and to meet chief Briggs in the Keep. When I enter the keep, the elevator shows green; when I click it, I get a dialog that tells me I do not have access to the elevator, and the elevator shows red. I reverted to an early save, and replayed before I was informed, but get the same behavior. I might be missing something obvious, but this otherwise seems bugged since I have no way to find Chief Briggs and progress... The Keep is the Structure on the North East side of the island that you opened previously correct? Am I misunderstanding where to go? Thanks!

Development Log / Re: Dev Log #15: Version 0.1.7.0. released

I've never been a fan of games where weapon degradation made a weapon completely useless. It's not really realistic.

I think there are two better ways this can be handled (these can be used in combination):
1) If an item is in poor condition, it requires more action points to fire (think a semi-automatic weapon that is no longer self-clearing its expended cartridge) and/or it is less accurate (think sticky trigger pull).
2) If an item is poor condition, it has the potential to jam on firing. For semi-automatic weapon, this requires some AP to clear it. For a revolver weapon, the use can just fire again immediately.

The only time when a weapon should be unusable is when parts are missing or broken.
