I've seen them too, GOG probably messed up versions and patch 1.1.2.1 simply doesn't work :/ Look at other things changed in recent version, like psi slots or HP with Psi Empathy.

There's another thread on this, but it looks like GOG does have the wrong version and is delivering 1.1.2.0 instead of the 1.1.2.1 it claims to be. Since apparently 1.1.2.1 has issues anyway...
