Hey, I just helped Gorsky, and Sneaky wipe out the gang, and after there isn't any dialogue option to tell them what they're gonna do next like in previous patches. As a result, I can't get access to the merchant who shows up in their base after a while.

What do you think of going with 8 perception instead and maxing out intelligence over dex to abuse the bonus damage from high point technicalities? With 8 int you get a total of 24% bonus damage from energy pistols, but with 16 you end up getting a total of 88% bonus damage from them. I think with this you can end up getting more damage out of electroshock and laser pistols. but you'd only be able to use your plasma pistol once per turn.

I don't know if it's just with this patch, but I can't seem to convince Lenox with the evidence I've presented, no matter which order I select. I've read the patient records, the spectre archive, I've done the autopsy and know how Pierce was killed, but Lenox doesn't seem convinced.
IIRC, there is one dialogue option that you don't want to select when you're presenting the evidence. It's the one about the thermometer, because that has nothing to do with Pierce's death.

Also, did you read the morgue inventory to discover that one of the surgical needles is missing? That's another piece of evidence that you need to present. Also, there's the fact that Mordre was one of the Spectres, which you discover by talking to Oskar in Core City.

The wiki page on that quest ( http://www.underrail.com/wiki/index.php?title=Meet_Lenox_Pierce ) has a really nice checklist, so you may want to check that out if you haven't already.
I think I missed the one with the surgical needles, but yeah I have the options for pointing out he was a spectre.

I should mention that goggles don't seem to affect the critical chance on energy or chemical weapons. I don't know if this is intentional or not.

I just tested this by looking at the combat status, offense tab, and can confirm it only works for weapons and not psi. I'm not sure about combat utilities (grenades, throwing knives, etc) but I don't think the bonus applies - Survival Instinct and Recklessness certainly don't.
I thought survival instincts applied to psionics though.

Does the bonus critical chance from the infused leather armor apply to all damage sources including psionics, and explosives, or does it only work for guns?

I actually made a tank pure psi build using the same feats and play style, and it's been really devastating so far. Telekinetic punch, with force user and proxy hits upwards to 800 damage right now when it crits. What's your stat distribution for the metathermics sniper though?

Is it possible to properly use Balor's hammer in the game currently? I know I can get up to 19 strength with the rat hound regalia, power fist, and bbq. I was thinking of trying a sledgehammer build centered around this

Regarding the psi melee, I agree with what has been said above.
High evasion & shield (and possibly things like Yell, or other debuffs) sounds great when you try to have Tranquility up all the time.
High Con (Survival Instintcs +30% crit chance) & metal armor with Psychosis to get as close as possible to 100% chance.

My 2 cents as a str-will-con psier. Superslam, Critical Power & Heavyweight sounds like fun melee crits to me !

Conditioning, Juggernaut & Stoicism with metal armor so that enemies mostly do scratches to you. No Premeditation tho...
Interesting, but since you're gonna be in melee range wouldn't it be better to swap it out for psionic mania, or force user?

Unrelated to this thread, but I'm thinking of rolling a tank psionic build. My starting stats are 8/3/3/5/3/10/8 so I can go for metal armor, and I want a lot of base int for a tech skill boost. I want to be able to craft morphine shots, metal armor and a good energy shield going by the time I enter Depot A. I'm probably gonna be investing into melee as well for a sledgehammer as an offhand weapon. Should I invest in Psychosis or Tranquility if I plan on taking this build?

How come the game ends before you meet up with Six at North UnderRail? What was the necklace the Faceless gave you supposed to represent, since the epilogue implied nothing. Also, how come the Oculus only had one mission when you spent doing practically six of them just to get in?

I have more, but I think I'll stop here.
