Oh, wow. I think it's possible to conclude that number is kind of overkill, considering that both Dodge and Evasion can only reduce enemy's THC up to 60%. Although, I actually don't know how each single point can make the difference, I'd like to use this opportunity to ask at the very least epeli and maybe even Wildan: What is the most optimal number of Dodge and Evasion that you need, AFTER synergy+stat bonus+equipment bonus+feat abilities bonus? Seriously.... I have to say that Defense skills of Underrail felt underwhelming, especially since it can only reduce THC up to 60%.

Damn, good to know a stealthy-hammerer actually works in this game. Once I had a thought of such build and then looking at the archetype I concluded it wouldn't work (Heavy attacks requiring lots of APs, and being melee needing lots of MPs and needs CON to survive subsequent turns). Turns out with decent stealth you can carefully position yourself and catch mobs off-guard.

Wait, let me reiterate what I get from what's being said. So, initially, IF we managed to persuade the FD to leave the train alone BECAUSE RC needs it badly.... and then we go to Herve and tell him about the truth about the train, but NOT report to SRO.... then we can still join FD? But that means.... RC can get the train by themselves without having to rely on Protectorate to recover it? What about the ending slides? Will RC get annexed by Protectorate, anyway?

Alright guys, found it. It seems you need to completely not know about the Beast *at all*, so you can ask Dan about it and, from there, get to ask Dan about 'this old pals' of his. Thanks to Insomnia Knights's Underrail LP episode 21. Not sure how it works from X41823T's side since, like I said, I personally redo Gorsky's Core City questline and the Foundry's Beast questline like 6-7 times, back to back between the two questline, in different sequences too, yet just can't get either Dan or Gorsky to talk about each other.

Never mind, found the 'supposed' trigger. You most probably need to not know about the Beast *at all*, so you can ask about it with Dan instead. From there, you can finally choose the option to ask Dan about 'this old pals' of his. Still, it's kind of odd you can't ask Dan's opinion about the Beast after you know it from other sources, rendering the trigger for dialogue about Gorsky unavailable.

And also that typo though.

So I've posted on the other thread about this, asking if anybody is assured about the trigger. Seems nobody did, so here I am reporting it as a possible bug.

I'm also kind of frustrated because I've repeated Gorsky Core City questline and Foundry's questline like 6 times already, back and forth and sometimes with differing sequence (doing two Gorsky's quest first, then finish Beast fight. Or exhaust Dan's dialogue after Foundry's questline, then finish Gorsky's quest, then talk to Dan again. Etc etc), none of them allow my character to bring up Gorsky's wanting to wipe out the Black Crawlers to Dan, or bring up Dan to Gorsky. Even after I wiped the Black Crawlers, I still can't talk about Gorsky to Dan.

Perhaps I've messed up the trigger? I remembered I manage to trigger Dan's dialogue about Gorsky but can't remember if that happens whether I've finished Foundry's questline or Gorsky's questline or both, but I did triggered it in my first playthrough. Seems like we have to get Gorsky to talk about his past, but that just can't happen for me. Seems like because in this playthrough I immediately asked for GMS Compound Keycard when he decided to close it for good, instead of doing so after talking to Quinton? My first playthrough I didn't ask for the keycard until his Core City questline was done, if that helps.

Hello.

So, is there any confirmation on how to actually trigger Dan's dialogue? My very first playthrough (sometime in January-February), I managed to trigger Dan's dialogue, but that was AFTER I finished Foundry's questline AND Gorsky's Core City's questline. From the look of it, it seemed like we have to trigger Gorsky's dialogue about his past first, no matter when it is but I just can't...... I tried my best to follow X41823T's advice, but Gorsky won't talk about Black Crawlers UNTIL I trigger his dialogue to give me the shield and have him go to the tunneler. I'm really frustrated about this, because I've repeated Foundry's questline for, like, the 6th time now just to get Dan to help Gorsky....
