Title: Adding the ice T email in hex editor?

Hi this may be a silly question that maybe only the devs could answer but I'm halfway through my current dominating playthrough and I started it before the utility tower patch came through so I never got the email at the beginning about the utility tower boss or smasher bros in that save. I'd really like to not have to start another game but I am sad it's the only way for me to get to fight any of those bosses. The question is simple; am I able to adjust the code in hex editor to put that email in my current playthrough?

it doesn't work retroactively
it all depends on the seed you roll at the start of the game
