Title: Wolo goes hostile

In Mushroom Cove, I was setting a hopper trap when Wolo approached me and instantly hostiled.
Caught me off guard a bit.

Is it because he tried to initiate a conversation and can't because i'm setting a trap?

Just going to update on my own thread, setting traps in an uncontrolled zone can still provoke hostilities.
That is true even if an NPC walks up to you to initiate dialog. So no bug here, just have to be careful when setting traps near NPCs.

People generally don't tolerate you mining the ground near them.
