[Save File] Newton Quest Permanently Stuck

Description of issue

After killing all the psi-beetles in the lab, Newton is already dead. Clicked on his corpse, looted him, went back to Bret and he continues to tell me to check on him.

Possible causes

I collected the hoppers before Bret gave me the quest to do so, I spent most of my time during this save in the Junkyard stealing and buying things to fight the beetles. There is also a randomly generated dungeon in the lab with goliaths which are too strong for me to deal with right now.

I abused the door multiple times to start and restart combat while newton was presumably already dead before I went near his body.

His death sets certain flags that are then used in Breat's dialog, but there's an oversight due to some minor changes, so a certain flag isn't recognized and the option to finish the quest doesn't appear. Fixed for the next update.
