Bugs / Spawn duplication bug

About a week back while I was in the burrower cave behind the door in GMS, I threw a grenade at the spawn eggs , the spawns came out of their eggs with like five or six spawn per egg. These eggs were not made by the burrowers, in this cave the eggs seem to hatch naturally over time. I did this a couple times because I found the glitch so weird. After coming to the realization I was not going to be able to kill fifty plus spawns I just stealthed myself to the dead body in the back of the cave and took the loot and left.
