In the area south of core city under passages entrance is a slightly hidden door which leads to a room with some random items. For some reason, when you open the door, the 'secret' sound triggers despite it not being a proper secret requiring perception check and additionally if you play classic xp mode, player gain some 1000 xp which seems to be a leftover from old version of the game.
