Metal armor in my opinion, at least in the long term. Early game the anti-rifle vest with its triple damage threshold can make you largely immune to rifles, end game the metal armor, reinforced with three plates and a regenerative vest accomplishes the same thing with very high resistance to mechanical/thermal/energy while healing any damage that does get through. If you generally don't care about armor penalty, metal armor is the way to go.

Generally speaking I believe it goes like this:

Most things can go up to but not past 124 quality. Weapons, vests, metal plates, electronics etc.

Super Steel can go up to 160.

Infused Leather can go up to 202 if you consider the crafting formula for it, but that would require 124 quality leather AND 160 quality Super Steel fiber. I doubt that is plausible.

Note that I'm basing these statements on my own experience in the game in addition to information from the wiki and such.

yes you can burst twice with a 7.62mm Hornet if you use the rapid reloader mod

I haven't been able to do this. When I use a rapid reloader to craft a 7.62 Hornet, I get single shot cost of 9 AP, burst of 27 AP. (Unless you mean burst twice per round with adrenaline, then excuse my comment)

What are the crafting bonuses per skill from the workbenches from the Core City House?

I am planning a character with some rather tight skill restrictions and I'd like to incorporate those bonuses into my build, but I can't seem to find any threads or posts stating how much crafting bonus the workbenches give you. I'm hoping for +10 or +15.

If anyone knows and could respond in this thread I'd be very grateful. Thank you.
