General / Re: Vision processing module for crafting Goggles

Is this item rare or something?

Depends on your personal luck, when I wanted to craft new NV goggles i just visited SGS trader, then Oculus trader, then Core city traders and usually one of them had 1 or 2 modules. If no - then I skiped some time in checked all of them again.

General / Re: Max Level 25??

Are you using Classic or Oddity XP? With classic you get overlevelled fairly quickly as long as you kill everything.

Even with Oddity XP system game becomes easy soon enough, after level ~12, because all beasts are almost the same in lower and upper underrail. No need in 25+ level cap, Styg should just nerf XP sources, player should have some progress even in DC.

General / Re: Black Arrow Sniper Rifle.

I'm a sniper so i need the best weapon in the game :D I shall look for it, appreciate your response.

It's not the best one due to very low critical damage, bad scope, no smart module. It's easy to craft much better one.

Styg should make an achievement for those one who has found it, it's the only one rare weapon I havent found

Anyhow I'm done doing playthroughs on Underrail for a good while, maybe someone more 'clever' than me will figure out where the damn black arrow is to be found and if there is anywhere in the entire current game where the faceless medallion 'belongs' to.

Maybe Al-Fabet will give you a Black Arrow? After I finished my business with T-chort I came to Core City and told Al-Fabet about warehouse area in DC, he told me that he will bring me something special, then I left merchant region and when I came back Al-Fabet disappeared. Maybe after a while he will come back with present and this present could be black arrow. I waited for him for a while and checked some DC areas, but without positive result.

Bugs / Al Fabet [maybe spoiler]
« on: April 24, 2016, 10:36:50 am »
I dont know if it is bug, but when I bought all the Al Fabet's stuff, he was still walking as overloaded despite he had only ~290 coins in the inventory (I was hoping he will sell me something special after I bought all his useless stuff or will tell me something interesting).

And later he disappeared. I told him about warehouse in DC and how to get there and he told me that he will bring something special for me. But after I left merchant district he disappeared, I checked DC (warehouse region, faceless base, few more locations) and did not find neither Al Fabet there nor missing items on shelves (I thought greedy Al Fabet will take EVERYTHING from there). Then I went back to Core City and there were no Al Fabet there too.

Question is: should he return to Core City with something special for me (I used cheat engine with x500 speed for 10 minutes, but without positive effect) or he should disappear?

General / Re: Your House (in Core City)
« on: April 23, 2016, 12:12:34 pm »
I'm wondering about buying all the stuff for a house. Is it actually affects somehow, will there be some quests if I will buy everything top notch and the most expensive?
Also what about defence and stuff. I guess if it's there than it must be a reason for that, right. Maybe I'm too greedy or more like don't want to say goodbye to the money I earned with sweat and blood in Underrail.

Will be glad for responces. My gratitude.

I bought all the defence stuff (plasma turrets and sentry on each floor, security cameras), all most expensive furniture, all crafting tables and no, there are no extra quests and nobody will try to rob you etc, it's just cosmetic stuff for now and a way to spend money. But I think Styg will upgrade Core City house in one of the patches in future.

Suggestions / Strength and intimidation
« on: April 13, 2016, 12:04:41 pm »
The idea is to make strength affect on intimidation (not only Will, like now). I see no problem if a character with high Streight will intimidate opponent in dialog using his physical superiority.

Intimidation at the moment is less valuable than persuasion and only PSI oriented character have maximum bonuses on them due to high Will parameter. Strength oriented intimidation will add some more variety.

Tell Lenox your version of story, he will tell you that it's not enough and after that you will be able to ask him about their past in Core City.

Bugs / Re: Pacify Psycho
« on: April 08, 2016, 11:37:04 am »
I had the same problem with Psycho. First I used flashbangs one after another and they did no effect! Yes, Psycho was stunned, but I was not able to use Neural Pacifier on it. Than I used traps + flashbangs with no effect. Traps + flashbangs + shots - no positive effect too. And only after I made two shots and run away and than damaged it with explosive barrels it worked.

Suggestions / Re: Core City House Suggestions
« on: April 04, 2016, 11:34:19 pm »
4) Story Trophies/Events

Maybe, when you become Invictus, you get something? Same for perhaps finishing different questlines; a Protectorate medal, some good  Free Drones graffiti for completing those questlines, some indication of who you worked for to earn the house...

Further, maybe some events? CAU/Free Drones assassins for completing the opposing questline who stage a home invasion (rewarding your security purchases!), perhaps a mob of fans of the Invictus that you have to disperse to escape the outside of your house. I really liked the situation with the hobo, kind of sad I scared him away; it would be fun to see more like that. Also, inexplicable wildlife infestations are never always fun. Maybe interacting with the mop in the broom closet cleans up the corpses?

So those are my suggestions for the house. I've had a riot with this game, regardless of my inexperience with the genre.

Agree, a quest or event related to Core City mansion would be good to see, more trophies (like current head of the Beast) is nice idea too.

That elevator is actually supposed to go to Deep Caverns.

Well yes, and Rude Rob? tells that it leads to DC, but since we go there by Institute elevator and come back by elevator near SGS why not use it to wipe lunatics at Oculus basis?

Or there is a way to use it to go to/from DC? (I used Institute and SGS ones both times, dont know how to use this one, thats why suggested to use it in Oculus quest since there are no ropes in the game and no other obvious way to go to Oculus basis)

One more suggestion concerning Oculus. I already mentioned that I was really sad about the number of quests for this cool faction. Maybe you will add Constantine's quest line?

Trader Constantine tells us about lunatics and how he hates them for trying to climb Oculus from it's basis:

He also tells us about horrible creatures living under Oculus building. There is an elevator right next to Oculus leading somewhere with "no power" description and misterious power box in Hanging Rat bar (which disables lights in the bar for now):

Why there is no way to power elevator and go down to Oculus basis to deal with the Lunatics and other creatures? When I heard Constantine talking about them I was 100% sure that he will give me this quest and a bit later I was really disappointed that there is no such quest in the game.

And one more important thing. I know that Underrail is not new Fallout, but there were many cool things and ideas in old Fallout games that can find good use in Underrail. For example in game description of all environment elements:

It seems like something slight and unimportant, but this minor feature allows player to feel the game and it's world much better! The same effect gives all old world items and structures (like unique weapons in Underrail). This location from Fallout 2 on screenshot is useless from a point of game walkthrough, but combined with description of all location contents it's great as element of in game lore, some NPC's can tell us a story concerning it and it helps player to belive in Fallout world, and make it look and feel like real.
