Title: Dev Log #44: New Trailer; Release Date Moved Forward

Hi guys. Just a quick update to let you know we're moving release date forward to December 18th. Everything else remains as stated earlier.

Also, we did a much needed new trailer for the release. Enjoy.

I really hope you guys get the recognition you deserve. Judging by the (almost exclusively) positive reactions I've seen I think you will.

The trailer has a bit of a slow start but gets good once you guys start showing up the combat. :)

Nice addition of the blood pools seeping out under killed human(oid) NPCs. Bit of a shame you didn't get around to touch up smaller inconsistencies like the flame effects, but I guess that would've taken up too much time. Either way, can't wait to dive right in by next Friday 8) .

As far as I'm concerned, this is the Fallout 3 we've all been waiting for for 15 years. So great you're on Steam too, how do you feel about getting rich?

In this moment I have the game to the new version 1.0.0.0 patched.

It was nice to go this way together with you. I'm excited, but also a little sad because I would have liked this exciting story with their beautiful subplots would be even bigger ... but who knows ... ^^

Do not get me wrong this is not a criticism, the game is long but it is so good that you want to stop no more.

I don't know about you but I'd be happy to give styg more money in exchange for more game at an indeterminate point in the future ;)

To me it's only a pitty that no option to remove carry weight and merchant buying items types and limits were added. I will have to wait until someone who shares my opinion but is able to mod will release a mod to make this game enjoyable for me to play.

I only have one question before jump into this baby head first: is the level cap the same? I'm having a heart attack at the character creation screen with all the new perks that make me second guess all the cool builds I wanted to toy with.

I share your opinion, but unfortunately don't know how to mod, and I'm still going to play the game as-is.

Yeah I know he did it though I didn't knew whether or not it still worked in the release version.

That said it only solves the carry weight problem. Merchants still buy too little quantities and of limits types.

I'm pretty sure that eventually someone will mod the game to take care of those problems, until then I'll just keep waiting.

That hacky attempt to cure the economy is the one thing in Underrail that stands out from its overall fantastic design. It got to the point where I refrained from sarcastically suggesting other ways Styg might restrict the player because I was worried he would go ahead and add them to the pile of futile chores we've already got.

Of course, once the reviews start coming in on Steam and every other player complains about it, maybe a toggle will be added.

I have no doubt a lot of people will be bothered, but I have my doubt that many will complain.

Besides if Styg really wanted to add it, he'd have added it long before the full release version. I'll keep my hopes up for some modder to actually take care of the one problem underrail has.

It seems the small/illegible font is the main complaint right now on Steam.
