I just happened across the body, but I can't seem to find a way to get to it. Any suggestions?

But, I think I know where are you...
In that location must be hiden passage to underground, and, if I remember correctly, must be few crawlers.

I just went around the entire perimeter of the cave, didn't find it. Is my Perception just too low? Do I need an NPC or a clue from the game to be able to find it?

It's regular loot location.
Find and buy (or make) googles with detection for such moments

i think i remember that area behind really unremarkable. like a couple hypos and a pistol unremarkable
