As the title suggests, my Mushroom Brew has turned into Mushroom salad. Even when purchasing Mushroom Brew from the store, it still becomes Mushroom salad.
Dude can't drink it anymore. :'(

That's very unusual. Is it still happening in the new (1.2.0.0+) version? You might want to do a file verification check. If on Steam, right click the game -> properties -> installed files -> verify this game's files are installed correctly. On GoG Galaxy it's right click -> manage installation -> verify/repair.

I have discovered the trigger for this bug. If you already have Mushroom Brew, Mushroom salad will turn into Mushroom Brew.
Conversely, if you have Mushroom salad, Mushroom Brew will turn into Mushroom salad.
Later, I updated the game version to 1.2.0.7 and cleared my salad. Then, I purchased Mushroom Brew and took the salad, and all of it turned into Mushroom Brew.
I also completed Dude's quest. After that, I did not conduct any further testing. The current version I am playing is 1.2.0.8.

Can't replicate this behavior on my end. Are you using Cheat Engine or the Russion language mod perhaps, or anything similar?

I did indeed use a non-official language module, and it seems that's where the problem lies.
