From what we know about Infusion, it's a new campaign, taking place in a separate part of the Underrail.
As we know from the end of the original, Tanner fled to North Underrail, with Six and the player pursuing him in some of the ending slides. Also, while the fate of the ACoNR is unknown, it's fairly plausible that it would've either ended up with the player/Six, Tanner, or Aran, who would've returned to Hexagon after completing his mission.
Given all of this, it seems likely that Infusion will take place in Hexagon, and maybe even parts of Dis, the largest known city in the Underrail.
This hypothesis is also supported by some of the screenshots in the Devlogs, with the interiors shown looking electrical in nature, as well as being rather cramped, reminiscent of the descriptions of Hexagon given by Oldfield and Seeger.
Honestly, though, where else would the sequel take place? There are way too many hints for it to be anything else, even excluding Expedition.
The real question is, who is the third Godman, and why is it actually Hank Wardell?

Other people (including me) have made the same conclusion, yet styg has said it's not hexagon or the north in general. Of course, styg could just be lying.
-
Why couldn't it be somewhere else? We have no established body of lore for East Underrail. I think you're extrapolating too much.
-
Also, Hank Wardell=Godman is a little bit of a stretch.
-
Hank is the player in the future. Hank is also James Steiner.
-
Truth is, we just don't have enough information to speculate further until Styg reveals more, which could be awhile. I hate it too but that's just the way it is for the moment.
-
I thought Hank Wardell was dead? Not very Godamn-like.

Whatever story we get, I know what two guys I want there to be in: Todd and The Dude.
Expedition was an excellent DLC and Todd was one of my favorite characters with one of the best ending slides. Would love to see him back.
As for The Dude. Is there anything else we can say about his duderinian dudesomeness ?

Infusion is not a continuation of underrails story, its set somewhere else not following the original players plot in any way.
