Title: Psi fist melee/unarmed - Advice?

I want to return to the game and make a more interesting build than a heavy armor assault rifle which was effective, but got boring. I have yet to make a melee or psi build, so I'm asking for some advice on what to spend the points on and how make it well. Also, is unarmed or fist melee weapons better?
