Title: How is To-Hit chance calculated?
Post by: Mercent on January 06, 2016, 09:40:44 am
I know that it is calculated from evasion, weapon skill, range and lighting but what is the rough formula? Which factor is the most important? I have now 280 evasion but still i am getting hit left and right...

I don't know the formula, however, i read this on the wiki about evasion (http://www.underrail.com/wiki/index.php?title=Evasion) :
Quote
Evasion determines your chance to evade ranged attacks and it also reduces damage from area of effect attacks.

It can reduce chance to be hit by up to 60%, if defender's effective Evasion skill is twice the attacker's effective attack skill.
Same for dodge. So at best you can reduce ennemy CTH by 60% with those.

Oh well. I think i will stick with increasing with Evasion all the way just for the fun of it. Thanks for all your replies.
