Title: Where to find Advanced Catalyzing Belt???

Hi all,

Long time lurker on the forum and hoping to get some help identifying where I can find/purchase the Advanced Catalyzing Belt. I am running a chem/energy pistol build and am level 20 currently completing the Free Drones Quest line but have yet to stumble upon it.

Owner of this belt is pretty obvious and you'll meet him on critical path. Sadly you'll need to choose to kill him.
I didn't find it anywhere else on Hard difficulty.
Apparently on DOMINATING you can already have it when doing your Junkyard quest. Fenix will know more.

Thanks Hilf, I am guessing you are referring to Principal Investigator Georgis.

I may have to start a DOMINATING difficulty run for both the extra challenge and greater payoff of obtaining the belt sooner if that's the case.

BTW,  my build is partially based off yours, it's really fun :)

I've seen them in shops, very rarely. I believe Derica had one once and also the vendor at the end of the Jack QS questline. This was on DOMINATING but I would be surprised if difficulty matters.

Hilf is talking about someone else. Someone you meet earlier than your guess. Maybe it's not guaranteed on that NPC, but I got one that way, and so did my son, I suspect it's guaranteed.

I definitely saw it TWO times in Scrapper shop, Gort is a name a merchant.
I don't think you should play without it, so check this shop every time.

I got mine from that same person, and am fairly sure it did not spawn in any shops. I might have missed it, but I doubt that I did.
