Title: fast travel with jet ski?

i know this might go against the whole concept of this game but would it be possible to fast travel to "known" aka already explored tiles with the jet ski? i really enjoy most aspects of this game but the backtracking isn't one of them.

also maybe a key pressed to the grid locations on the global map become visible. i know i can count them from known points like the expedition base but im lazy..
