Title: Psi crossbow build

Hey guys I got this game a while ago but did not get into it because i was intimidated by the character creator and not wanting to make build that is going to be awful. im wanting to make a psi crossbow build but i've read the mixed psi is not great but wanted to ask if crossbow and psi is viable or not and if it is can somebody help me with a build please or give me some advice or tips. with the release of the DLC i really want to get into this game but ive been on character creation for hours.

i was  wanting something that has lockpicking, hacking and probably persuasion if possible but i was worried this would be spreading my points too thin

what is the difference between dodge and evasion?

Im also wondering if shotguns would be better instead of crossbows?
