Title: shotgun shells in deep caverns

hi, my shotgun character is running out of shotgun shells in deep caverns. What do I do?
I have a sniper rifle as a backup weapon but that's not enough.

I'll have 0 shells by the time I reach Tchort! I entered DC with almost 400 shells but that's nothing considering DC monsters count.
Yes, there are shelves with thousands of bullets in one place, but there is ZERO shells in that location.

Yes, my character is stealthy and I am trying to avoid combat when possible

You can buy some from the Tchortists. There is an armour available somewhere; you will have to look for corpses. You may have to leave the game on to refresh the merchant's stock - although I don't know if that works for Deep Cavern :).

You could also craft some if you have the means - there is a large cache of crafting materials available. Or try some other weapon from the Gun category to make do.

yeah so far I found one TNT... Tchortists camp sounds nice!
