It would be nice if there's cheap option to "distract" enemies while hidden, it could be a non-damaging less-noisy timed firecracker/mines that only needs TNT and scrap metals with very low Chemistry. The main usage is for trapper and stealth playstyle, either to "ensnare" them to trap, or simply move the enemies to the side so it's easier to stealth through. It would also be better if it counts as tools instead of combat utilities

I agree with all of this.
I find it extremely bullshit that when I throw a grenade no one ends up finding me, something to drop at my feet that'll attract everyone would be a great help.

Or the opposite, throw grenade and everyone, from upper underrail to the depth of Deep Cavern, suddenly ambushed out of nowhere
