Hello everyone, I would like to request some advice/feedback, I have just installed UnderRail on my new computer, and somehow, despite having tried everything I could find, the game still refuses to run.
Either by Steam, or by launching the game from the .exe file in the Steam folder, the game does actually run for a couple of seconds, then closes without displaying anything.
Here are some of the things I tried to fix this, with no success:
-Re-installed the Game.
-Removed XNA 4.0 and installed XNA 4.0 Refresh.
-Checked game files integrity on Steam, no errors found.
-Disabled my Antivirus protection (I only have Windows Defender)
-Installed packages from the Steamworks folder.
-Created a "Underrail" folder in /MyGames.
I am using Windows 10 Pro 64 bits, I did played the game 2 years ago on an laptop running Win10 64bits as well, and never had any issue.
What I don't understand is why the game behaves like that, I would have expected a crash log or something, but it seems the game process closes as soon as I run it. The Documents/My Games/Underrail folder has been created, but no log is to be found inside.
I don't know if anyone had this issue before. I really don't see where the problem comes from, you guys got any idea?
