Is it possible to hand over the artifact to Tanner? I mean, I see one possibility where i can export my character with already picked up artifact and follow the main questline again untin where he ask me to track it down and hand over to him, but is it really worth the effort? i just wonder if there will be any unique dialog or something.

I doubt it. Retrieving the Cube without handing it over to the Faceless or Six should be impossible (exception for cheated saves of course)
