Title: Steam Version Requires Validation at Every Launch

Hey guys, I've recently bought this game but I have a problem regarding Steam Early Access version. Whenever I close the game, the game fails to launch, then I have to verify game integrity to check the files. (the process gets me the error "3 files failed to validate and will be reacquired.")

So, unless I do that and let the game download 49 MB worth of data, it won't launch. (I get the error "failed to start the game unknown error"). Do you know what might be the cause? It's really frustrating to download files every single time, any help would be appreciated.

Could be Steam installer hiccup. Did you try fully reinstalling the game?

Yeah, I did a fresh reinstallation but the problem still persists. It always downloads 49.0 MB worth of data.

Could your Anti-Virus be deleting/quarantining files? Could be getting a false positive.

Maybe check the logs?
