Hi guys. It is my pleasure to announce that the game has now entered beta stage and will be released in full on December 21st 2015. As before it will be available on Steam and GamersGate, but now also on GOG.com.

In the following two weeks we will be doing closed beta testing to make sure the game has as few bugs as possible on release.
Also a little heads-up: at some point between now and full release the game's price will be increased from its early access/alpha price to its full price. Those of you who have followed us since the early days know well that the game has since grown in scope and quality far beyond that of the initial release.
Thank you all for being patient with us throughout the years, the long wait is now at an end.

Calendars marked. 8) Now to rest easy.
-
Hell bloody yeah, that's the news I was hoping for 8) . So, care to share what the final price is gonna be?
-
This means i'll have to buy it again?!
-
No, but new buyers who didn't get the game during early access will pay full price.
-
Excellent news, Styg! Can't wait. Just one question. Will it support Steam Cloud? Since I'll be playing it on both desktop and laptop at work, it would be great if there was no need to copy paste my save files. :)
Hope the game does well. You deserve every euro earned. ;)

Woohoo!!!! I'm so excited!!!!! I've been checking the dev log every day for the past few weeks to see when the release will be! I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present than Underrail! :D
I hope the beta goes well, and I really really hope that the release goes well, too; you guys deserve a lot of praise (and money!) for the fantastic adventure you're blessing us all with! ;)
Underrail GOTY 2015! 8)

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy
-
Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God, yes, yes, yes!
-
Thanks Tchort for this glorious day!
-
That's awesome! Really eager to play it.
Underrail is really a gem in that pile of high budge shitty games.
Underrail Alpha already gave me so much emotions that Fallout 4 could not even dreamed about that.
Good job guy!

Unfortunately, no. Save files were too big for Steam Cloud.

Are we gonna get a final batch of teaser pics before release, or maybe a launch trailer?

New screenshots have been posted in the Media section (http://underrail.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=41&Itemid=55) but you've already seen them all through dev logs. We're not going to show the very endgame or the secret stuff, you'll discover that on your own. ;)
As for the trailer, we'll have a new trailer by the end of next week probably.

Bazungolf 8)!

Gratulation!!!

AAAAAA!!!
Looks like it is the best news for the whole YEAR!
We will long remember this winter! Because the Game is coming!

I bet the cellar wankers over at the Codex are collectively spurting all over their screens right now. INCLINE! O GLORIOUS INCLINE :o !
-
Underrail is the king! Underrail easily beats Fallout4, Pillars of Eternity, Darkest Dungeon and Shadowrun Hong Kong in my book, so most much hyped RPGs, which turned out to be bland and boring.
-
Underrail should be held as a prime example of how to do "generic" right. Because let's be honest, it's not gonna win any awards for particularly original worldbuilding or writing. However, here's the thing - it doesn't need to. It's simply rock-solid at what it does, concise and to the point, and doesn't feel bland or boring as a result, whereas other specimen of the genre that are trying too hard to be funny or unique ironically end up falling into the trap of rehashing the same worn-out tropes over and over. Hell, Wasteland 2's purple prose and silly Native American headdresses got old much faster than anything I've encountered so far in Underrail. I think the right word to name this quality would be "authenticity". Underrail doesn't try to be overly self-aware or witty. Some might find it a tad dry, but it pretty much perfectly mimics the spirit of its late-90s ancestry: serious, straight-faced business with the odd tinge of zaniness. No exercise in authorial masturbation.

Ah, the prophecy has been fulfilled.
I'm so gonna enjoy that.
Again.
-
Of course 8) .
-
Decided to grab a copy of this after i found that the game will soon be published.
8 bucks for this game is a steal tho. Outright stealing.
-
You can always buy it twice. ;)
Give it to a friend.^^
-
Defo gonna buy a few extra copies for friends, too. The word must be spread.
-
Damn, these days drags so sloooooow...
-
Phew, I might be able to put a sensible post together now that the initial hype spike has dissipated.
First of all, congratulations on the release date - sooner than I expected! I kind of was expecting a delay to early 2016... ;)
It's going to be busy two weeks betatesting everything and preparing for the release.
Me too ;D
Santa eat your heart out, Styg's gonna kick your ass this year 8) 8) 8)
