Russia? Ukraine? Somewhere in Western Europe? Chicago or New York, USA?
This is nothing but my own curiosity at work, the answer has no impact on my enjoyment of the game. I just wondered if if is something the developers thought about.

The fact that they use the metric system would exclude certain countries, but that's only my guess

On the Steam description it says "Life on Earth's surface is not possible and people live under a vast metro system", as for the country, my bets are always somewhere in the U.S.

There is some metro in Poland now, but only in capital city and is not vast.

The game might not be set in Poland, but there's definitely some Poland set into the game.
