Bugs / Mutated dog melee range

So I was fighting some mutated dogs and here is what I noticed:

Even the dog were 1 tile next to me i could not attack them because of acid blob entanglement but dog were able to bite me.
Don't know if this is a bug but when i was standing next to other dog with acid entanglement on me i still could reach the dog with my sledgehammer.

Same bug here. Crafted my tungsten steel armor adding more tunsten steel plates and 2 x tungsten steel spikes. After hitting some enemies here is the result:



And what I have already noticed that damage increases everytime my character moves and changes to focused status.
Also damage seems to increase after changing from the weapon in the left hand to weapon in the right hand.
