I don't know if it's a bug but I lost a lot of items in the two barrels just next to the entrance of the mine in the Foundry. Usually I stock heavy stuff in barrels in the different cities and it works quite well but I guess that these two barrels are bugged. Is there a way to get back my items? I tried to reload an old save but it was too late.

And the second thing is that the dialogue are bugged with Nicolas in the foundry. If you found him and you talk to him he will tell you to follow him. Then if you decide to tell him that you know nothing about the murder, re-talk to him and said that you changed your mind you will re-follow him. And even if you choose to said "Let's talk" or something like that you will re-follow him etc.
I don't know if it's clear. Tell me if you want more informations or some screenshots.

Yeah that would be nice. After I realised that I totally messed up my stats on my first character, I started a new game and I planned to make a ninja: throwing knife/psi powers as weapons and a lot of steath/dodge. On paper it sounded quite cool, but then I quickly realised that throwing knife wasn't a primary weapon :(

I usually just start the combat manually because fuck savescumming to win a random initiative roll.

Wait, so it's possible to start the combat manually? I always thought that at the end of the scene the combat started automatically. So if we do have a small window of time just before the start, is it possible to save during this period?

Thanks for the answers. Yeah you're right Gman this guy seems to be a little bit overpowered. That would be cool if there was a way to bribe the judge/director of the arena in order to have a little advantage during the fight. The acid guy for example had dogs, someone even had a plasma turret in a supposed 1vs1 fight, seriously?!? Why not us? Or I don't know why not a little mission where you could (beware possible spoilers) meet the real opponent that you were supposed to fight. Because if I understood correctly Carnifex killed him or something like that in the backstage. So maybe there could be a way to prevent this.

For now I think I'm going to follow your advice, wait until level 25 and come back as a terminator 8) with a full steel armour and shield.

Hi everybody,

I would like to know if you have some advice to beat the last opponent of the arena?
My biggest problem is that my character uses a light armour (3 in strength) a crossbow (with special bolts), an energy shield, have psi abilities and is more stealth/dodge oriented. I didn't have any problem with the rest of the warriors but this one kills my character in one turn... I can't do anything and it's pretty annoying :(
I can't craft heavy armour with a lot of resistance because I don't have points in mechanics, so I tried to buy one in the merchant but even with it I barely stand one turn. The only time I survived more than one turn I was stuck in his net and my telekinetic punch (between 120 and 150 damage) almost had no effect on his life.

If anyone have advice please tell me.

P.S. Is there a way to skip the scene just before the fight because when you try for the fight for the n-th time, you loose a LOT of time (especially for a ten second fight).

I don't know if this has been reported but you can be stuck in the foundry prison in this room:



The other door is locked too and for those who don't have lockpicks or enough skill (45 minimum and 50) this can be problematic.

Here is what I did to be stuck (possible spoilers):

1) Convince the chief of the prison to let me talk to Todor because I'm his wife.
2) Try to convince him to take some poison, the screen become black then the guy disappeared.
3) You are in the room alone and possibly stuck.

Yes I agree with you, very often I had to check the wiki in order to finish a quest because I didn't remember the details that the quest giver told me. I know that it is still possible with the help of the log to re-read the dialogue, but after one or two combat(s) or if you load a save you can't do that anymore. So yes it would be great to have a quest notebook more detailed, especially for the quest giver who don't repeat the information about the quest, example (if I remember correctly) the guy in Junkyard who is looking for his knife.

And of course the map seems to be essential for a lot of people, I saw a couple of threads on the subject but there wasn't real answer. Plus I read that the current version is the last before the release, so my question is will there be maps in the final version ? Even if we have to buy them, craft them or draw them automatically when we explore the different zones, it would be very useful to have a map.

Edit : If the developers want something more roleplay for quest notebook and the dialogue issue, maybe we could have some kind of voice recorder with the possibility to record conversations related to quests or something like that.

Check your Combat Stats (C) instead, the bonuses should show up there. Combat Stats are always the actual numbers your character uses in combat.

You are right thanks epeli, I almost never used this menu. But still I don't know why lockpicking or stealth bonus are displayed in the skill menu but not evasion and dodge. Maybe it's reserved for non combat skills but it would make sense to see all the bonus in the skill menu.

Hi,

I'm new here and at first I would like to say that I really enjoy Underrail, congratulations to the developers !

So I noticed a very minor bug, there is a clickable barrel in the Burrower nest near the Camp Hathor that doesn't have the text "Barrel" when the tab key is pressed. Here is a screenshot for the exact location.


And another thing more problematic is the fact that the dodge and evasion bonus doesn't work for my character.
Here are my stats without armour, boots and balaclava :



The armour and boots stats (the images are clickable). I forgot the balaclava but it's not important.





So I should have a bonus in stealth dodge and evasion, but when I look at my stats I don't know why but only the stealth bonus is applied.



Maybe there is a conflict with the feats I choose : Aimed Shot, Doctor, Expertise, Hunter, Marksman, Nimble, Psi Empathy, Force User, Kneecap Shot, Pyromaniac and Pack Rathound. Maybe with Nimble or something like that.
At first I thought that was because I had 0 skill point in Evasion but I decided to put some points in this skill but nothing changed. I have a save just before a level up, so I can do some tests if you want.

PS : I apologize for the possible mistakes I made, English is not my native language.
