I friggin' love the silly languages Styg and his entourage cobbled together. Kokoschka's Slavic slang was hilarious already, but the Black Sea cavemen and their cartoonish Viking-Nazi jargon are just comedy gold.

Crossbows are like Maliwan weapons in Borderlands. Focusing on elemental damage, rather than raw physical.

One of Underrail's greatest strengths in my opinion is what others have ironically labelled its biggest weakness; the nigh-complete absence of logorrhoea. So it shouldn't be too hard to overhaul and flesh out the reactive dialogue in the game over time, which is already being done, and has been done in previous iterations.

It certainly makes sense, seeing how e.g. Borderlands' system makes the game completely trivial once you cross the level cap.

The black overcoat thingie may be silly, but ultimately it falls under "rule of cool". Underrail is a Cyberpunk game as much as it is a Post-Apoc game, and Bullfrog's Syndicate is thus as much a stylistic influence as is Fallout.
