General / Re: Modding Support - When?

Just a little additionnal insight :
Giving tools to the public can be seen as giving away your tech, too.
Styg made this engine from scratch, i'd understand if he doesn't want it to be stolen and used by others, for exemple.
By publishing tools, you don't provide them only to modders with good intentions, but to the "world", with all its good and bad.

To often the ideology is painted in a negative and violent light and its just not true. (...) HANG ALL THE CANS!!!!
I love how you contradict yourself is the same post ;)

Although i don't think it's really intended, you can use expose weakness to make them vulnerable to mechanical damage.

Yes, i must say it is jaw dropping.
The first time i was presented to it, i was astonished, but everytime i go back there the feeling repeats.
This place is well presented (story wise), beautiful, and the music inside suits it really well.

Generally, i have to congratulate the team for all the amazing details through the whole game. There are unique and superb props all over the place. The musics are great (wish there were even more!), the dialogs/descriptions are so well writen (!), and the story... rich, mysterious, savantly distillated, just woah!
I don't even mention the coding, Styg, such an engine all by yourself, you have my respect and admiration.

That's it, take the elevator in core city and choose "upper level" or whatever is in the first choice on the top.

First of all, they're not mandatory. You can do what you have to do without the canisters and the whole mad scientist stuff.
Then, there is no magic trick to get them all, you just have to look everything you can find in deep caverns, everywhere.
Last but not least, you don't need them all to make the Exitus-1 sequence. Just scan what you have and try to build the sequence to mimic Exitus-1. I needed only 4 of them to do so. I can't tell you wich you'll need, as it seems reagents and sequences change from one game to another. <-Spoiler

Oh yes that's right. Although you can give him back right away with a skill check, simulating that you have the expertise to analyse what's wrong with it.
All in all i never saw its stats ^^

Visited most of Lower Underrail and still can't find any unique energy/chemical pistol :/
You can find an unique energy weapon in Deep Caverns. Not that powerful though.

I don't think so, they are treated as built-in augments.

I just passed the interview by being proselyte with Tchort all the way through, and never mentionning any mission i'd have, spying, or psychopath behavior.

He said there were a guy and three girls in the gang. Look for Duff and three named girls in the drop zone.
For info, drop zone has several "levels" accessed through ladders. If my memory serves me well, there is one near the guards at North. Search on the upper "level" from there.

House bonus is a +15% on the crafting skill, so it shouldn't change the final product, just allow you to make it if the requirements are too high. (isn't it ?)
You get the house when you finish the quest line of one main faction of core city (JKK, coretech, Praetorian security).

By the way, i just got some super steel (125 quality for the best one), and was quite disappointed trying it on metal crafting (helmet, metal armor...). What did i miss ? What is it good for ?
The insulated leather seemed much more of an upgrade. Simple steel seemed better statwise than super steel, at first glance.

General / Re: How to open the door to Burrower Caves
« on: January 06, 2016, 10:46:48 pm »
If my memories are right, you have to persuade Gorsky just after you give him the key to open the first door and he understands it's filled with burrowers.
So, there's a persuasion test, and then he gives you the key.

Anyway, it's not very important to go there, it's just full of burrowers, unless i missed something big.

General / Re: How is To-Hit chance calculated?
« on: January 06, 2016, 09:57:54 am »
I don't know the formula, however, i read this on the wiki about evasion :
Quote
Evasion determines your chance to evade ranged attacks and it also reduces damage from area of effect attacks.

It can reduce chance to be hit by up to 60%, if defender's effective Evasion skill is twice the attacker's effective attack skill.
Same for dodge. So at best you can reduce ennemy CTH by 60% with those.

General / Re: Rathound king question [SPOILERS]
« on: January 04, 2016, 01:29:10 pm »
I just love how the town would attack the Rathound King on sight regardless of agreeing to the peace truce. Makes you think who's the true evil in that story.
The truce terms are clear, each faction stays on its land. If any member of either faction crosses the line, they are to be attacked on sight.
This was very clear to me when i read it, and when i got shot at in my new costume, i just laughed so hard for the game being coherent with those terms !
