General / Dreadnought combat against burrowers is painfully slow!

I think I might fall asleep here with the combat taking forever.  I'm doing the Hephaestus Research base mission where you find the lost patrol for the Protectorates and can enter a Dreadnought suit to kill the burrowers, but you can't exit during combat.  The problem is that I didn't do a ranged build so my hit chance with the Minigun is 10% and I never hit (low perception).  As a melee build, the melee does destroy the bugs but it costs 25 AP per hit and burrowers run away so whenever I move I can never attack and then the burrowers move yet again.  The only way to destroy them is every 2 turns is to launch a missile which takes half their hitpoints.  So I had to do 2 rockets per kill over and over again while waiting 2 rounds for the reload.... /Yawn...

Either you need to be able to leave the suit during combat, or the range/melee attacks need to be revised.  Give a to hit boost for those not specializing in ranged combat, after all you are in a mecha suit that should have aim assist.  Alternatively, significantly lower the AP cost of the melee attack while lowering the damage some, so you can move and attack at least once.

General / Re: Dexterity in punch psi build

Ah thanks, that would explain it.  Yeah, I haven't used Tabi Boots.  Is there a specific variant that is the best one to aim for?  I am using a boot right now that I got at like level 1 since it raises my agility by 1 and haven't find anything remotely superior other than some Tabi boots variants.  I am trying the Ninja version, I hope the 3% increased critical hit chance penalty isn't too noticeable.

General / Dexterity in punch psi build

So I am playing a Psi Puncher and I am using leather fists primary (The Claw) and a metal fist offhand.  I read that raising your dex really high can lower the AP to 4-6 level, but I am not seeing that.  The Claw can't seemed to be lowered past 7 AP and metal offhand fist weapon is at 10.  This is with either 12 Dex innate or 13 Dex with food.  The only way it goes lower is to completely remove any fist weapon and use your hand.

Did this get changed in a later patch or have fist weapons always been stuck at 7 / 10 action points unless you go barehanded?  I could have sworn that I read that getting to 15-16 dex can result in a metal fist using only 5-6 AP or so.
