Builds / Noob in need of help with Snipers

Heyall, newbie here just bought the game yesterday. Started out with a Psi build, going strong there, but I want to try out other stuff and see what really meshes. I'm liking the cave wizard playstyle, but I've always liked going hard on Snipers in other games of any type.

Any advice for builds, good snipers, tips for maintaining the build, combat with a sniper, et cetera? Any help is appreciated!
