Ive always wondered in a half formed way if the underrail was somehow the result of an Acorn.

Its never completely fleshed out as a theory, but the way it describes things makes me wonder if a prior acorn had been activated, and made it possible to reach further more remote elements of the cave systems.

Its complete bunk, but ive always felt that there was more of an impact with the acorn than we have known.

Of course its more than likely an intentional subversion of expectations. The item found at the end of a massive quest is a utility item no one is able to use, and amounts to a paperweight for all the good it does without a key.

Mine was the sub ride back up in expedition.
The moment where it says that "There should be a light here" had me so tense.
I was convinced it wasn't over yet.

So I have recently fought my way through expedition with a psionic, and actually managed to get the Lamp, and connect all the dots needed to understand the larger implications of these freaking serpents and the reason for the weird snake emblem the natives use...
And then I head back to core city and a few correlations begin to rear their heads.
The snake emblem is almost the exact same in concept as that on the praetorians newly designed cloaks. And they also have snake reliefs around their base of operations.

What are the odds of the praetorian having access to monoliths/shards of leviathan?
