Suggestions / Metal Helmets+

Kinda weird how other headgear gets so many neato options while helmets only have foam and only 1 real option for lenses.

I'll get straight to the point as it's like 7:00 AM and I've had no sleep.

 Lens Options
  • Image Intensifier Tube - Adds NVG compatibility, requires power source.*
  • Glowing Red Lenses - Improves Intimidation skill if powered, requires power source. Q10-160, 5-35 Skill improvement.

 Mask Options
  • Vocal Scrambler - Upgrades Yell to make intimidated targets more likely to be affected by the Brutality feat if powered, requires power source. Q50-160, 2-20% Boost to Brutality**
  • Biohazard Upgrade Kit - 35/17 Bio resistance, Perception decreased by 1 and Detection decreased by 20%

*Only compatible with normal lenses, has it's own image intensifier slot.
** Consumes 10 energy on yell, doesn't render unique bandana obsolete as Yell has a 10 turn cooldown and neither can you equip both for hilarity (un)fortunately.

I think these are worthwhile additions because I feel that Metal Helmets could use more stuff considering other headgear and Intimidation isn't that strong. This is still worse than Cruzer's edgelord bandana due to poor uptime 3/10 vs all the time and requiring LoS when casting Yell.

This was written with Melee builds in mind as Heavy/Med AR builds would usually rather use seeker goggles on top of their preferred scope.

Also why wouldn't you want to be Darth Vader menacingly advancing wheezing towards your foes victims with an intimidating robotic voice?

Edit: woke up and added more stuff

Suggestions / Grey Army Vending Machines

Currently unless you don't gas (And why wouldn't you?) Free Drones faction there's no way to use the Zlatortiya currency and even then it's only real use is to become Charons which makes it money with extra steps at best or an oddity that doesn't give xp at worst.

I think that should change with the two functional vending machines in the Grey Army's canteen where you can buy the two food items exclusive to this map Kzozel and Canned Czernina for 40 and 30 respectively or just destroy the machine and get 400 Zlatortiya and 5 of both items. Since Kokoschka only offers limited currency exchange, up to 250 Charons at most getting a couple thousand of this foreign currency from both ransacking the base and the poor innocent vending machines shouldn't be too big of a deal economy-wise.

Wouldn't be awfully useful in the grand scheme of things unless you want to stay permanently drunk or Kzozel but it's still pretty neat to have use for the currency if you want access to the Protectorate's armory as annoying Fraser is.
