Builds / PSI Tank Build for a Beginner

I just picked the game up and have messed with a few builds but decided I would like to do a tanky psi melee build. I have no idea what I'm doing. All I had in mind was a paladin like character who can tank a hit, hit back, and use powers to buff. Any help would be appreciated!
