Hi everyone,

in my current playthrough I realized that I catch the same fish in the same order, also failing to reel in was consistant. After some trial and error I found a way to manipulate the outcome. You have to skip to reel in when something bites. After that you get a new set of outcomes. For example I had to skip four times to finally catch a Ghostface in the Core City sewers.

Did you ever wanted to deal 40k dmg in one round? Well then this build could be for you.

First of all let us clear some things up:

you can't deal all the dmg to one single Target, in order for it to work properly
Everything is pure hypothetical, never tested this out
Theres a possibility that I screwed some calculations up
Its a Lowlife build so its super squishy
I ignored Accuracy for calculations

But I don't care.


How to use this build:

First you kill 2 targets with your Sniper Rifle, while Shooting Spree resets your AP back. Aimed Shot deals an avg. of 2015 dmg and a regular sniper shot deals 1236 dmg. Fight Response and Psycho-temporal Contraction boost your AP up to 80, so with your Assault Rifle you can fire 2 Burst, with 9 Shots each. In order to get the third Burst, you have to Trigger Commando.

Use Precognition and Stasis (on you) for defense, also you can invest into Psychokinesis.

Options:

You can easily swap out: Sharpshooter/Opportunist/Suppressive Fire for something else. (Premeditation, Last Stand and Force User seem valuable)
Put 90 Points from TM and 10 from Lockpicking into Psychokinesis for Forcefield and Stuns.
Put 4 Spec. Points into Psychotemporal Acceleration in order to reload reliably.

I think this doesn't make sense flavour wise.

I would like to see Flexibility granting an additional psy slot. Maybe make it a Veteran Feat for balance.

I totally agree with you that investing in Int feels wasted. We can get an additional slot with the headband, but even before the psionic update enhancements already heavily competed against each other.

Utilizing more than 2 Psi Schools makes no sence anymore (with that I can live), but making it that hard for 2 Schools feels overdone (which is especially true for Thought Control)

Also I like to mention, that it feels so much more rewarding to disable 3 enemys with 3 separate abilitys, than just with 3 times Electrokinesis.

Before some "everything is fine, u have no idea what ur talking about, tin can goes brrrt" commentarys pop up, I have played 520 hours and looking forward for more.

Suggestions / Psycho-temporal Contraction

Hey Hey People,

I think everyone would agree that Psycho-temporal Contraction in its current state needs to be nerfed.

With every build I spend 55 points in Temporal Manipulation, just to grab this buff with no downside and minimal investment. With the new update there is a 60% chance to recive the debuff at 55 TM which scales to 30% with 166 TM. The debuff is so strong that i would reload every time i got affected. So I asked myself do I now spend 100 points in TM or will i just reload the save twice as often.

In my opinion this nerf doesn't deal with the actual problem here, which is the lack of commitment. Its just annoying.

So my solution would be:

100% chance of debuff
-50 MP -25 AP 3 turns at 55 TM
-10 MP -5 AP 3 turns at 166 TM

new specialization for Psycho-temporal Acceleration:
5 Points: Further decrease MP penality by 2 and AP penality by 1
1 Point: Decrease debuff duration by 1 turn
