General / Underrail 2 ?

I truly love underrail as an unforgiving yet good games... And i was wondering if there will. Be underrail 2 in the future?...  Would love to see the north underrail cities and the unites stations...

I also wondering how the northeners react with someone from southern

Yup its my first blind gameplay (My first time playing it XD)  to reach deep cavern so i never though to carry much repair kit because of its weight. I also nearly run out of molotov in there for trigger the ambush XD (Ambush Its love, Ambush its life..)
I deeply resent the deep worms for destroying my smg and its ammo (Im stuck at labyrinth with a broken smg from bursting the worms) :)

Well lesson learned (Always Prepare for the descent XD)

There's a warehouse area down there that has a ton of weapons and armor that you can recycle and turn in to repair kits.

I honestly forget you can recycle items...  I just take another smg there and ran to the boss XD

Hiya guys i just finish dominating play on deep cavern and i want to share the build i made :

It basicly a Sniper+SMG with temporal and pyscho support but i feel that maybe it can be more. Optimized

Weirdly I manage to 1 shot most boss (Only Tchort need 2 shot)  IDK about expedition boss since I haven't start

Weapon : Spearhead (Rapid+Aware), Steelcat (8.6+Tactical+rapid)
Food : hardcore chips & Root Soda (Arena Only)
Utility : Taser, Molotov/Incendiary/Flare, Flashbang or Cloaking Device (For Snipe)

Advice : Always Carry Ammo and repaid kit for weapon (My SMG broke apart before the boss)

Pros :
With Temporal and adrenaline you can clear most room with 1 turn
A bit mobility for escape or chase
A bit of high damage (Highest I have is 2.9k against Tchort)
LTI can quickly give you another shooting spree
Premed help with your pain usage

Cons:
Heavy Ammo Use (Primarily for SMG)
Low Resolve (Suspectible to mind attack)
Depend on Critical (Critical resistance enemy will use SMG or snipe)
Contraction have chance of feedback

Traps Is mostly preparation for the expedition (It says Traps truly helps)

Any input is appreciated

Ok, so I lowered tm to 70, and got 6 dex for grenadier.
Got around 150 spare skill points from tm and overleveled lockpicking/throwing, and put them to pickpocket/traps and some crafting for those 170+ frames (SGS tatto/underpie and +2int drug)
I don't know if ambush is good, seems like there would be small amount of opportunities to use it, and it would only take like one move for them to make it invalid again.
I think if there are any very evasive enemies then flashbang+throwing net would take care of them, unless there are big groups of dudes like that, then I dont have idea what to do besides skipping them with stealth.

Is quick tinkering worth 1 point in dex? Also, power managment or trigger happy?

Quick Tinkering if you use traps very often, idk about others but i pick trigger happy for initiative

Exoskeleton armor has a lot of weaknesses, but Balors can be used without it. You are better off going leather for mobility, metal armor for survivability, or Rathound Regailia for the strength bonus.

I see... Is a hammer build with stealth and no metal. Armor viable or not?  I kinda want to play agile hammered which I will named hammerina. Since a lot of feat for sledgehammer usually want armor penalty for maximum power...

some weapon like jacknife and powerfist have certain buffs in them.  I wanna ask if i only equip them (Not Wield it only on equipment slot). Give them a bonus or if i can only get the buff by wielding it.

Think about it : max str (18 with feat)  with rathound regalia+powerfist = Funky Balorinna hammer.

I'm not really that far into the game but I can give some advice:

1.dodge and evasion won't help long unless you really specialized on it.  It also unreliable at dominating due to enemy increased skill by 30%. Against just take it with a grain of salt, I mostly just put dodge at 40 and evasion at 50 for the feats. Shield Emitter and mobility is your best defense on dominating

2.im not sure about this but I drop skinner and gun nut,  the bonuses are negilible for it to work I usually just take grenadier and premeditation since it give more advantages.

3.maybe this just my personal taste but I up some effective throwing 125, chemistry 69,  and biology 70. Using chemistry and biology to craft items. And for better throwing precision

4.idk if this right but you don't have stealth and you have low con. Stealth help a lot on low con build. Mainly for alpha strike

5. Carry a long range gun,  either a pistol, smg, or even AR.  There a times when your enemy is out of your range and you need to kill them first.

Again just take this with a grain of salt as I never play shotgun build.

Butcher just sounds like a worse version of serial killer and the beast tattoo, and the downside isn't worth it for such a small bonus. Fresh meat is just the Taste for Blood on kill effect that only works for bladed weapons. Mania sounds like a pain in the ass to implement, and just means that you pop all your drugs and abilities first then activate mania to get a free 30% damage for most builds. Shield mastery is crazy overpowered since it basically gives you a 50% chance to block most forms of mechanical damage with shield arm and boosts the damage of shield bash further, which can reach zero AP already. Stampede and charge sound like the same ability, and it costing MP basically just means that melee builds get an extra free attack with all the ways to generate extra MP. Why bother suggesting feats if you yourself concede that they are poorly thought out and not good?

I kinda hope if there a bit criticsm for it since maybe they can be rebalance or either expanded XD.

My poorly thought suggested feats:

Feats :
Butcher : Increase damage against living being by 10% but lower your damage against machine by 10 %

Fresh meat : Increase your damage by 10% for each enemies killed with bladed weapon (Spear,machete,knife,and serrated or spiked gloves)

Mania : Increase attack and fortitude by 30% but render your character uncontrollable until the effect worn out (Your character will be taken over by the AI)

Shield mastery : your block increase by another 15%, now you be able to block bolts and bullet with your shield to reduce damage taken.

Stampede : Rush at your enemy with your spear,  give mechanical damage and unbalanced debuff (Depend on movement point for range and strength for damage).cost mp instead of ap

Charge : Rush at your enemies and ramming them full speed,  give mechanical damage and chances to get either unbalanced or dazed debuff. Depend on cons and str.  Cost MP instead of ap

Just some thought i give.  Not really good feats probably XD

It will use sniper rifle (Spearhead or Corsair)  and a smg (IDK which frame is better but it will have muzzle)

One question.. I have few unused skill points which I add to traps but if there a better place to spend it then please do :) it will help :)
