Bugs / Several Achievements not triggering

've been playing the latest update of the game and enjoying it immensely. I've ran into a problem in the manner that achievements are not triggering so far in none of my multiple playthroughs.
I have met the requirements for First Blood!, Rat Meat Gourmand and many others achievements and nothing seems to be working. I updated to the experimental branch and no dice either. When I tried a new game on Legacy branch, achievements worked perfectly.
It seems that the counters aren't increasing whenever I kill something in the main and experimental releases of the game. I'm playing on Dominating difficulty if that matters. Tried in Hard difficulty as well and that did not work either. Only in Legacy are achievements working for me.
