Eidein in the elevator.

"Descent" instead of "descend".
Descent is a noun, descend is a verb.

Principal Investigator Georgis

"Teast" instead of "test".

Bugs / Re: Failed to load save file

Yeah I'm getting a "Failed to load the saved game" error too.

Happens with every save, as well as newly created saves. However, if I load from the main menu the saves load just fine, so they don't seem corrupted. Only loading (or quick loading) from in-game is bugged.

Development Log / Re: Dev Log #72: Steam Deck Preparations

Great stuff. I'm still unsure as to whether I'd like to pick up a Deck, but if I do games like Underrail are exactly what I would want to play on it.

I still think this was a worthwhile idea.

When speaking to Olivia at the Foundry mines after killing the Beast her response to "How do you feel now that the mine has reopened?" reads:

"[...]I heard you helped helped in some way[...]"

It's intended. There are quite a few of these hidden throughout the world.

Oh. I thought that might be the case, but I had never seen one before.

Development Log / Re: Dev Log #66: Shiny Particles
« on: September 08, 2020, 07:03:54 pm »
Even with these particle effects the game should run on any hardware that has been commercially available in the past 15 years.

My computer is 6 years old and while running the game the CPU usage goes up to a whopping 15% while the GPU stays at 7% and jumps to 8% when there's lots of explosions on the screen.

Bugs / Footlocker lacks label

A simple issue. This footlocker one screen east of the lower entrance to Core city lacks the label that pops up when pressing TAB.

Suggestions / Initiative text log
« on: August 21, 2020, 04:12:44 pm »
Hi,

I think it would make the UI easier to read if at the start of combat the order of the units entering combat would be ordered by their Initiative roll, rather than what appears to be arbitrary.

For example:

It's hard to determine the order of attacks at a glance.

When speaking to Dan in the Foundry the green text reads:

"...picks up his rifle which was also placed against the fance and offers..."

Should probably be "fence".

When speaking to Doctor Stevenson in the Foundry the green text reads:

"It is as if the coat reflects its owner, for he too invokes a clear image of someone who used to be young and full of spirit but has now shriveling up as the hardships of life..."

Should probably be "is" or "has shrivelled".

Thank you. I almost had a heart attack when I continued my old save and saw the site was gone.

Bugs / Re: Cannot loot corpse

Are you sure he's not interactable? I can barely see the corpse there, it is quite far below its name tag. You can increase Unobscuration Alpha in Options -> Interface to make obscured objects easier to see when highlighted.

Huh you're right. He was way off from the name tag.

In the early quest with the mystery body in the medical ward the body was a man's, but one of the doctor's lines of dialogue referred to it as "her".
