General / New PSI ability's or type for infusion?

With the high chance that infusion is not taking place in south underrail, do you guys reckon that there will be new PSI ability's that were not present in the first game? Stuff like temporary mind control or maybe even some sort of new PSI skill type like necromancy could be local to the area the game takes place in. Id be very interested to see what could happen.

Also a side note, I wonder if all PSI skill types will be returning in infusion as Temporal Manipulation are DLC only

Hello everybody, as you probably have noticed a lot of bots have been posting on this forum. As harmless as this seems this is actually quite serious and could endanger your computer or phone, this is because these bot messages have hidden links in them. In this post I will share some images just so you know what to look out for.

How do I identify a bot post:
First lets talk about the important bit. How to identify a bot post so to not have possible malware installed onto your PC or mobile device. In each post made by a bot there is usually a small link that is so tiny its barley visible, Its there however and knowing how to spot it is important.

I have linked an image which shows a bot post and highlights the hidden link. If you do find a bot post that contains a hidden link don not attempt to click the link as I have no idea what it could do, just that it wont be very pleasant to you device. Always check for these hidden links before commenting underneath a post or interacting with it as you could accidently interact with the link.

Types of bot posts:
Some bot posts are not always malicious but rather just scumbags and scammers, you may have already see some posts on this forum advertise gambling websites or other sites that intend to suck money away from you. More commonly a bot post will try to seem human, asking questions such as "Any games you would recommend" or "Is there going to be an Underrail 2?". Before responding to these posts try to spot the orange link to see if its a bot post as sometimes these bots can know about game mechanics in Underrail to seem like your average poster. And finally a rarer bot would be one that pretends to be someone (Normally a woman) and try's to get people to talk to them through private messages, If your not 12 you probably wont fall for this.

What should I do after encountering a bot message:
The most important advice I can give you is DO NOT REPLY to the message. Seriously that's what they want, every comment a post gets sends it up to the top of the page for everyone to see, commenting that this is in fact a bot may lead to someone else clicking on the post and accidently interacting with the orange link. Ignore the bot or if its especially offensive report it to the moderators.

Conclusion:
We have an infestation of these bots and the best thing to do is ignore them, by doing this you will save yourself and others from these abominations and allow this site to once again be about a game where you get stun locked, insta-killed and brutally dominated like the pipeworker you are that we all know and love. Feel free to comment on this post if you have any tips on how to avoid these bots that I have not mentioned. Stay safe people and god bless rathounds

Also, Godmen did not like Flottsomir so they installed Glowing Canine at the entrance to black sea. It doesn't allow to spread his influence.

Scientific proof: it glows. Shadowlith is dark. Light disperse shadows. Cosmic logic, it is unbeatable.

Natives are under Flottsomir influence, therefore when they go near Glowing Canine it zaps them and they die.

That could explain the sad fate of yngwar

It is an extra dimensional entity that appears to the natives as a great serpent. It might be a leviathan, or it could be something else. It communicates through the shadowlith and the black rock totem, but it is not trapped within them.

I know that the natives call it the great serpent and that it comes from another world, but what exsactly is it. Is it a giant psionic sea serpent or is it one of the leviathans the godmen were enemies with. And is it really in the black sea? Or is it still trapped in the monolith?

Suggestions / New clothing type for Underrail infusion

An idea i recently had during a playthrough of underrail was an idea of a new armor type. Currently in underrail there are 4 types of clothing, that being the Riot gear, protective vest, metal armor and leather armor. But I had an idea for a new clothing type
The Robe
The robe would be a very low defence armor type possibly not even giving mechanical resistance, in exchange for this the stat boasts of the robe would be much higher than other clothing types like leather armor. This would create a power dynamic by fitting great into low constitution builds focusing more on dodge/evasion builds or builds that are about avoiding combat completely.
I think the robe could be made with three components. The main components being a cloth such as black, anti-thermic, kevlar etc and a leather such as heartbreaker, rathound or other all ready existing leathers. An optional component would be a padding such as dense or soft padding. The cloth would control the look and also certain stat boasts and effects the robe has like anti-thermic making the player immune to burning and providing fire resistance but reducing stealth while black cloth would increase stealth. Leather would control the main stat boats such as siphoner leather providing increased dodge and evasion and even other effects like immunity to life stealing effects, or heartbreaker leather could increase persuasion while also providing increased resistance to poisons and effects. Lastly padding would just increase certain resistances like cold or electric resistance. Anyway that's all the ideas I had but I think it may have some potential especially for cave wizard playthroughs.

Good tip to start off with, always keep bandages with you at all times. And the second most important tip is too stay away from cave crawlers, at all times. (:

You can become a mutant??
Yep, there's 2 ways of becoming one as I know. You can find the broken cryo freezer in the upper caves and interact with it causing it to spew mutagen which will turn you into a mutant (Make sure to save as there is no cure to being a mutant) or just follow the protectorate quest line. You will get the chance to expose your self to the mutagen during the final mission. Happy hunting

You can also turn the valves in the final boss fight to douse the boss with acid, and on dominating each valve takes 1/3rd of his health. It only hurts him if he is standing in a specific spot though, so it’s a bit inconsistent to do, but you can use the cameras to see where he is. The only downside is that the boss usually kills your allies while he is moving into position, so usually only one person survives. You also get a different ending depending on who you side with, or some unique dialogue if you kill the inhabitants without turning on the power.
Thats pretty cool, I didn't know any of that. Its amazing how much effort was put in just for content very few people would see

Hey I just wanted to know how many people know about the secret ending you can obtain while being a mutant. Its a really cool addition to the game thats kinda hard to find with about an hour or 2 of content. If you havnt all ready I'd check it out. For those who don't know to get the ending you must get to core city sewers as a mutant. Then just move some garbage and you'll be set on a really cool quest line. If you can't be bothered to do any of that I made a video of the whole thing that you can check out.

Id love to hear other peoples thoughts on it and whether they enjoyed it or not. Personally I loved it and I thought Styg did a great job on this secret

Hello, Im on my 4th playthrough of underrail and I was just wondering if there was anyway to increase the chance a serrated knife will cause bleeding wound? Im trying to make a fun knife build and i really want both thirst for blood and vile weaponry but it doesn't seem worth it when the knifes only have a 25% chance to cause bleeding.

I've figured out how to fix it, I reloaded my save from when I first arrived at the expedition and this time intimidated the mutants into letting me down the elevator, this meant I could now talk to Marcus without him telling me to go to the chief. For anyone with the same problem as me who doesn't have intimidation I think wiping out the mutants would also work.

I'm on my third playthrough of underrail and I am now going through expedition again. However I can no longer progress as the Chief says i need to talk to Marcus, when i try and talk to Marcus or anybody else for that matter they tell me I have to go see the Chief as he is mad. When i try and talk to the Chief he will say "Shouldn't you be looking for a microchip implant?". I already have Phils arm so I dont know whats going on. Anybody got any fix?
