Thanks for sharing a build, I am playing it right now and enjoying it.

Evasion and blast cloth have almost no effect on fragmentation grenades. Their damage divided into two parts, heat explosion, that get reduction from explosion resistance, and fragments, that get almost no reduction. So, if you want to use BOOM ability not only for getting stacks of demolition man, but also for killing someone who come close, and stay alive in the process, it`s better to use HE or plasma nades of high quality.

Also, I altered a build a little for my personal preferences. Removed psi empathy and added sniper rifle feats as great fight opener to take down far away enemies with shooting spree. I also put some points in lockpicking to access some of the oddity exp, and use taser in one of the belt slots to compensate lack of psi. Completed almost all pre-DC content, had struggles only with Arena masters, Carnifex and Black Crawler.

Pretty solid build, thanks! Do LMGs work with the ambush feat? It would be a great addition to this build to help with high evasion enemies and 40 stealth investment with stealth gear will help to get past fights that you don’t want to fight/spend your ammo on.

Is Commando Spec really worth the extra 9AP versus just doing more concentrated fire damage?
Commando spec allows you to do 3 bursts per turn with rapid 7.62 hornet. Without adrenaline or temporal. It is totally worth it.

Also in the videos you you telepathic grounding, but its not on the build. Is that not needed anymore, or are the points just better elsewhere?
Thats not my channel, I just dropped a link to it here. Yeah, I forgot. Invest 30 points in pcyhokinesis just for grounding and you good to go. Also lockpicking, pickpocketing and persuasion are optional. They are my own preferences. Also you can find plasma pistol early in the Junkyard, Google it. Or craft if you have enough money. And I would switch places of ambush and high technicalities if you find/craft enegy/electro/plasma pistol early.

This build looks really cool, but how does it play out early, is it just spam traps/grenades and pray for crits on lasers? I usually play melee :P
Use firearms and traps/grenades before you complete gms compound. You can easily stealth through all Depot A. The purpose of this build - one shot all with aimed shot of electroshock or plasma pistol. Use circular wave amplifier to up your critical modifier, and smart googles to up your damage. This build do not rely on critical chance. It rely on ambush to have 100% crit. So you need to hoard Molotovs later, and have knowledge how to position yourself. For armor use padded infused pig leather overcoat and black cloth/infused bison tabis. Also do not forget to use limited temporal increment every turn.

I've actually been trying this build and I love it. I've also been using Steyr-auch as my secondary and it works really well with it.
But this is my second attempt at completing the game. I had no idea what I was doing the first time, and got around half way years ago. But I plan on finishing it with this build, So thanks ^_^ <3
Just curious what gear you have mid/late game with these skills... Is there something that compliments it? Or a must have ect

Gear is totally up to you. You can use smart NV goggles for robots, for everything else - crit NV goggles with infused rathound leather armor. You can even use psi headband for crit and cryokinetic orb damage increase, but it will be not that efficient, cause your primary source of damage is sniper rifle, and you need that hit chance from night vision to be able to hit more often. As primary weapon I was using refurbished Dragunov and AWF, and after lvl 16 – spearhead. As boots you can use either tabi or leather boots with spring, I prefer tabi. Hope I wasn`t late with answer.

Good build! Also, you can up your TM skill to 160, and switch between Plasma beam and temporal distortion. It will help a lot with nagas and hives.

As KnifegaF said, Themporal contraction hasn`t suffered a lot form this nerf. With Acceleration you stil has 3 turns of the same speed boost, which enough for most fights. I was playing the same build on dominating, but dropped it when started expedition, cause without any offensive psi or Three-pointer you will really struggle with Sørmirbæren villages and Fetid Marsh cause of lack of decent AOE. Still, TM Sniper is a really interesting build, which depends on yours brain to win tough fights. Also, about critical, if you not taking Survival Instincts, or not relying on Ambush (which is really easy to trigger), you will be having 83-85% critical chance with focus stim, feats, rathound armor, tatoo, googles, and hardcore chips (Unless you spend invaluable for sniper specialization points into recklessness), and we all know the difference between 85% and 95% or 100% chance to do something in this game. Big critical chance still a good bonus for build tho.

BTW Pseudo-spatial Projection is a pain for a pure sniper.

Sorry for a somewhat late reply. My personal preference since the patch, which changed AP cost of spearhead base attack, is using metathermics with psychosis. Thermodynamic destabilization and cryokinetic orb give you a lot of AOE, which sniper builds lack of. And cryostasis with cryokinesis chilling gives you an ability to killing bosses much easier, prepare to snipe/aimed shot, etc. Here is my current build.
