I mean, add the maximum amount of stuff to crafted/found equipment which still has unused slots.
Too game unbalancing?

General / Some questions about Super Steel/Items quality level.
« on: April 30, 2015, 11:59:06 am »
Don't get me wrong, my character is well equipped just the same!

During my latest playthrough I had some bad luck with Super Steel: in particular I got four plates in a raw which were under quality 80. Two were around 75 and two around 56/57. For the first time I'm palying in Normal difficulty. Is this difficulty related?

Second, during my last two playthroughs the best rifle frames I found were around quality 125. I found one in a locker (random loot) and one for sale. I usually manage to find 120's quality level objects for sale only via savescumming... And a lot of it, actually.
I understand that the best stuff should hard to come by and that you want to keep something for the end game, so:
What's the maximum objects quality level in game?
Quality should be character level dependant, right? Can I assume that in the final game we're going to get to level 30/35?
Also, if this can be revealed, how much content is still missing from the game? 10%? 20, 30..  :D

Thanks in advance!

General / Best skin/leather to be found?
« on: March 31, 2015, 06:09:38 pm »
My character is currently level 20. After farming siphoners (a LOT of reloading...) I managed to get a quality 64 skin. The bulk of the skins I can find or buy lies between quality 35 and 45/50, less or more. This without taking in account the ancient rathound skin, of course. Any leads about how to find 70+ leather, if it's possible in this latest release?

Bugs / Bugs in Camp Hector (0.1.14.0) Solved!
« on: March 27, 2015, 06:28:48 am »
Hello there.
I'm experiencing some bugs in Camp Hector:
1) The Burrowers Infestation quest is desplayed correctly in my journal, but the door leading to the mine is still closed and marked in red. My character can't even touch it, it almost seems that the tile before the door is blocked.
2) Various graphical glitches, I.E. characters and walls sprites desappeare and come back randomly.

What follows isn't meant to bash the game, it's only feedback:
I'm running my second character, a gunslinger with crafting abilities. This character has 3 willpower and no points invested in bartering. I just hit level 16 and the first four rows in my inventory are full of money. At level ten it was some 2 or 2 rows and a half.
Personally I'd get ridd of the present bartering system, get back to merchants buying everything but for much less money.
Also: money hoarding is possible because it's mostly required for consumables only. It's hard to find a good weapon for sale at a given moment in the plot. It seems to me that the situation is better with armours. Personally I'm not particularly fond of money sinks in RPGs, but they have a purpouse.
Crafting: my present character has 6 points in intelligence (probably 7 at level 20), and save for a bunch of leather armours crafting has proven to be wasted for now. No matter what, I always can loot or buy better stuff than that I can make. I feel this is only partly due to skill requirements: it's also about components quality consistence and availability. I see that vendors in the different towns have "scaled" inventories, I mean Junkyard better than SGS and the Core better than Junkyard and so on.. High end vendors should be more biased towards a fixed high end stock imho. It would make intelligence score and skillpoints investment more interesting.
For now each time I want to craft something and I need, let's say a bolt of cloth of quality 90+, I have to run across all the towns to find a vendor who has the component and possibly that quality level. After finding a dozen of bolts of 40/60 quality the only option is to wait another 90 minutes for the vendors to restock. If I'm lucky it's not "rinse and repeat". I enjoyed Underrail so far, but the constant buy and sell vendor hunt is a killer.
Any opinions?

General / How do I get to The Core city merchants?
« on: December 26, 2014, 06:11:19 pm »
Hello everybody.
As the title says I have huge troubles in finding merchants in The Core.
I followed the barkeep directions and got to the upper level via the elavator.
I get to the Coretech map, which only has two links to other maps, one east and one west. Am I on the right level?
Also, I tried to explore the rest of the town levels, but no luck in finding any merchants. In short, any leads are welcome!
