Suggestions / More flame weaponry

Their a disturbing lack of flame based weaponry in this game. I mean, this is based off of Metro, right? We should be able to burn through hordes of burrowers and rat hounds with a flamethrower, garbed in power armor metal armor, cackling madly.

Can someone explain to me what the hell happened to bullet measuring in the years leading up to the apocalypse? 9mm is somehow more powerful than 7.62 (which is a rifle grade round), 7.62 is apparently now a pistol and SMG caliber, and everyone started calling .50 BMG 12.7mm.

Suggestions / Reloading Ammo

I was really dissapointed when I learned that you can only use empty casings to make special ammo. Can you make it possible for us to reload them into basic, JHP, or AP rounds that normally you can only purchase? Of course, you would probably need to add gunpowder and such, but it would be cool to be able to reload all those empty casings you get without having to grab a ton of special components.
