Suggestions / Hypo's and Merchants

I think Health Hypo items of all tiers should be treated like Ammo for selling purposes. This means that merchants that deal in those items are always looking to buy them, such as how mechanics merchants are always looking for batteries and weapons merchants are always looking for bullets. To me at least, it would make sense that people in the Underrail are always looking to buy these items while being more selective about the other medical items they are looking for.

Suggestions / Throwing Knife QoL

I was playing around with Throwing Knives and thought they might work better as something you actually equip in your hands as a weapon, instead of the utility slot. That way, the attacks are more responsive and you don't have to wait for the "throwing" bar to fill up constantly each time you attack. You just toss them until you run out of stacks. You could also use the other hand to equip a different type of throwing knife and switch off between the two hands.

Builds / What to take with Thought Control

My apologies if this is the wrong section to post this.

I really like the Thought Control discipline for PSI but I have no idea what I want to pair it with. From what I have gathered so far, Thought Control abilities are low to mid ranged. So I'm not sure if I should try and take something long range to balance this out or if I should choose something that sticks to that threat range and rely on mobility to close with long distance targets.

General / Character Builder and Difficulty

Does anyone know if the Builder Tool takes into account difficulty level for things like Hit Points and so on?

General / Metathermics feels weak

Compared to the other PSI disciplines I find Metathermics to be less impressive than the others. It's feat selection isn't great except for maybe Thermodynamicity, and a lot of enemies just straight up resist the damage. I find it annoying that you need to take a feat to set people on fire with Pyro and the Chill effect feels less impactful than the status effects you can inflict with the other disciplines. I concede maybe I'm just not using it right. I'm running a full PSI caster right now and I often just find myself using the powers from other disciplines than with Metathermics.

General / Tanner and Boris the Animal

I like Tanner, I confess one of the reasons I like him is his model and icon pic remind me of Boris the Animal from MIB 3. I was wondering if anyone else thought the same.

General / Is Mercantile Worth It?

I'm pretty new to the game and I've seen a lot of conflicting information on the Mercantile skill. A lot of the builds I see on this site have both Persuasion and Mercantile as invested skills. While people on other forums say that Mercantile is worthless. So I wanted to know what the deal is because it seems obvious the community knows something I don't regarding the mechanics.
