With hipothermia perk and stacked cryokinesis/stasis, You can also drop enemy max hp to the point, any critial will do the job.

I think You need high perception to see hidden bridge on the other side of the cavern (where the cave hoppers are getting stuck,  and 2 psi beetles are roaming). Didnt tried it yet but it looks like there should be a long stone bridge there

Since I started this topic here is mine:

Metathermic gunslinger/sniper

Critical atributes:
Perception (10)



Critical skills:
Guns max
Dodge
Evasion
Metatermmics (for cryostasis and cryokinesis)
Psychokinesis (just 25 to get telekinetic punch and forcefield)
Melee (just 25 for dirty kick)
Stealth

Critical feats:
Aimed shot
Execute
Hipothermia
Cryogenic induction
Sharpshooter
Shroomhead
Oportunist
Snipe
Dirty kick

Rest is optional


I like this build alot since You can easily drop though enemies by using stasis+shatter combo. It also grants other means of exploiting weakened enemies.

You could add an optional character reset on import so we could spend all the atributes, skills, feats again to test different builds without need to go from level 1 again.

I dont know if You can open it, but You can get to the other side below the ground through vent shaft (there is one that leads to the area behind the closed gate with electronic wall)

Making resources from lockpiks is ok but when You have three types of them with different magnitude then the scenerio of using them is like this:

Lets say we found a lock to lockpick - You dont know how difficult it is to open it.
1. use weakest - > to weak
2. use stronger +5 -> to weak
3. use stronest +10 -> to weak

damn, I had to use it three times to find out that I cant open the lock. Thats a time waste and micromanagement chore - you also have to spend three quickbar fields to speed this process.

Remember that this is alpha and for now You see few starting areas that simply cant be super hard because its a start. If You seek challenge now go for all out war on Scrappers, Black Els or go tell protectorate guys that You need to see ambasador with a grenade :)

You can for example:

Hack auto-turrets to kill enemies for You
Plant traps to do work for You
Use vent shafts to move freely in heavily guarded areas
Use persuasion/intimidation to achieve quest goals/ talk Your way out of tough situation
You  can sneak past most enemies



Did not found a way to hire mercs so far, dunno if it will be possible
Mitigating enemies wont alone give You exp tho...

Agree with screeg here,  Lockpicks as of now are working great since I dont have to micromanage them. At least give us maybe a blueprint for multiple use lockpick device (like omnitool),  it could use battery as well.

Battery for haxors - thats ok.
