It was always strange to see permanent hostility trigger because you misclicked on a mindshroom or something, I feel something like that should pass after certain amount of time or quest progression.

I think those were asked before especially numeric input.

Here's a fresh one

Add an option to allow - and = to be used in the quickbars, for 2 extra slots on most keyboards.
Hell it's even a SS2 reference with how the weapon bindings worked in that game, so you know you want to.

I always thought this idea was cool ever since I was working on a STALKER mod and wanted the organ drop rate (snork foot, etc) to make some sense rather than be super random, especially since grenades and shotguns were very OP in that game, I thought it would be a cool balance for those weapons to destroy organs and prevent the drop, while the knife would be almost 100% drop.

Unfortunately it kinda depends on everything else in the game and the devs vision whether such a cool feature makes sense to add or no.

You know I thought about this too, my take was it's a feat, if your accuracy to the target is very high (exceeding 100%) then the amount of extra precision is multiplied by a certain factor, and used as the chance for you to penetrate the main target and deal damage to the target behind it, it could be interesting.

I've been shilling this 'excess precision' mechanic before because it provides you with some reason to use bipods and scopes, instead of forgetting about them completely once you have access to advanced scopes and smart modules.

Kind of a slim chance of it getting added though, since sniper rifles are already very powerful.

Considering the new .25% value of items on dominating and the fact that nobody has been able to nodeath the difficulty yet, I don't really think changing all the maps is a good use of Dev time or would improve anyone's enjoyment of the game on that difficulty.

There's a guy on a different forum playing a sneaky psi trapper who claims to have not died yet.  I don't know if he finished it or not.
Where's that, Codex?

Knives are not bad, all about using electroshock+crit since unlike combat gloves you can make a serrated knife with 130% critical damage bonus, then get Cheap Shots and Critical Power to raise it up to 300% for 400% total damage, then just find ways to raise your critical chance of which there are plenty.

Finally much-needed adjustment of formerly too powerful Burst fire and Quick Tinkering. Now we can see the hit chance of throwing nets, that is good.

Maybe it needed an adjustment of some sort. But doing slightly above 50% of the old damage I'd hardly call an "adjustment".

I agree fully.

This eliminates the burst-fire build as an option in Dominating for the most part. Unfortunate that there was no other way to adjust the damage without completely ruining the viability of the build.

I have a good guess that feat specialization will even out some of the 'uber nerfs' like the Burst damage changes and maybe Quick Tinkering cooldown.

At any rate you can always run a crit-focused Chimera build instead of a smart-Hornet  build, I coasted through the game on Hard with one, I would feel confident giving it another spin on Dominating, this time with specialization points to put in all the burst/criticals feats as well.

Hmm, not exactly a tweak but..

Lack of Thought Control so you can restealth in combat seems crazy if you're doing a Psi Sniper, you can use both Mental Breakdown and Neurovisual Disruption to restealth around enemies, then reposition to shoot them from afar and even Snipe them again despite starting combat a while ago.

I know it's not what you want to hear if your time with the game is limited, but the RPG system is very well adjusted to encourage you to try multiple characters.

This has been reported before, you can buy the info from Kat then go to the intercom and only the 'funny options' are available, and yep it can still happen.

I wonder if stealing your cash back from Kat can cause this? Don't really have the saves to test it.
