The rule is that attacking a faction member will turn the entire faction hostile, regardless of all factors.

The exception is when a quest is involved, usually when one of the quest's solutions is for you to attack a member of the faction that gave you the quest itself.

String Lord: Crossbows (Zephyr+Cyclon), some Melee for Expose Weakness applied with Jackknife for minimal AP cost; Quick Tinkering, Kneecap Shot and Psychokinesis psi for even more crowd control with Forcefield/Imprints, Dirty Kick instead of Taser for more special bolts, crowd control combos
Chimeric Cleric: Assault Rifle (9mm Chimera frame), throwing max-level grenades and incendiaries, all burst feats, very high mobility, medium stealth, gear and stats all maximize crit chance to over 50%

That could work and I heard others ask for it, but skill changes are very unlikely, otherwise Guns would have been split by now.

In general changes that would have big retroactive effects and break savegames seem unlikely, like merging or removing skills, merging tiny levels into a bigger level for better navigation, etc. More popular are high compatibility changes, things that add something separate on top like extra feats.

I never could figure out why this ability costs action points. I prefer to just use something like a riot shield along with the spear which is always active, even during surprise attacks, and doesn't cost action points, or other sources of block that are always active.

People complain a lot about the effectiveness of these skills at higher difficulties. My ideas for buffing them are a few feats that do things like:
- reduce or remove the cap on how often attacks can miss against you (at most 60% miss with evasion, at most 90% miss with dodge)
- proc various things when an enemy misses an attack against you (attacker misses an attack against you -> they lose X action points depending on your dodge/evasion)

Idea: metal gloves are underused, so make them incur 125% mechanical threshold unlike the 140% of unarmed and leather gloves and give them a bit of critical damage bonus

The house really needs something like a quest or something, to make it really come alive.
Something like very important guests that needs to be hosted so you make your house nice for them (rather than just installing work benches in a pitch black basement) and prepare everything to make a good impression.
There has been a house-related event added in Expedition but it has little to do with how your house is decked out IMO, some proper quests tied to having a house and the right house furnishings would help the most.

While under the effect of Juice, my character was able to kill Magnar's void with an ordinary weapon, the torch was not required.

Thanks! That's pretty helpful that thread. I remember seeing that hammer with the rune above it so I'll go back and make a drawing of it or something. I picked up on the ferryman saying he hit the guy in the back of his right shoulder, so no worries on that part either. I just have no idea how I'm supposed to get the bone crank without searching every grave and having the spirits come after me. Is there a way to know where it is, or do you actually just have to search for it?

if i remember correctly, the crank doesnt show up using Tab unless it spawns on the ground (and not already attached to a hoist) so you may need to go around right-clicking hoist mechanisms if you cant find it on Tab. don't touch the graves until you've got the crank, though. pretty sure that riles up the ghosts
Man, this thing seems really annoying to find, no wonder I didn't find it with any of my characters.

Pretty entertaining read, would like to hear more about the thinking behind making Nerfed Old Man.

Also you can steal arena loot even without enough AP, if you are close enough to the body just end turn then spam click on it and the A key to take all, works every time.

Exactly, they can not only damage, but even kill their friends, and yet somehow nobody will turn against them for this act of treason.
